Quote o' the night

Slow day...

It's Monday. I've nothing to do at work. I don't like days like these where everyone is buzzing around + I'm in the holding bin waiting for clients + coworkers to get back to me... especially after sipping down a cup of "nitro" coffee with all this energy + nothing to substantially work on. Wish I had brought my bike + extra clothes so I can finally use this nice walking path nearby. Someday, eh.

So, Easter has come + gone. It was memorable having attended Good Friday service with some worthwhile time to think about it all. "It's Friiiday, but Sunday's a-comin!" That was great. :) Communion. Acoustic guitar. Prayers. All retrospect, all future. Think forward.

Anyway, the folks at work are rounding up the troops for lunch, so I will leave now + join them. Hopefully, the wheel will start to roll by the time I get back.

I love maps

Niiice. Google Maps has extended their map system to the other countries of the world, although you can't exactly explore or search for directions yet. So far, they've mapped the city of Torino, Italy [Hmm, wonder why.. ;) ], all of Great Britain, + all of Japan. They even have the placemarks in Japanese characters. Apparently, they are still working on the rest of the world. ;)

Just a jot for now. Happy Good Friday.

This is the first night...

...of my long-awaited exercise regimen. So, we finally found a place to work out. It was by accident, too, when we were giving J's parents + sis the grand tour of his campus. Running machines, weight machines, + free weights--all this at our disposal. And fo' what?? FO' FREE! :D Thirty minutes cardio, thirty minutes weight-lifting, then hopefully thirty minutes cardio again. We'll also get a nice bike ride in since I do not want to lose my good parking spot. We're going to try to do this at least 3 nights a week. Let's hope I can stick to this regimen. It's been a long time waiting...

Wish me luck.
