The present glow

So, today a little birdie [in the form of one of my creative directors] came into my office + handed me a white envelope with my name printed on the front of it. He proceeded to speak of good things about the company. Then, he spoke of good things about myself + the "hard work + great attitude" I've contributed since I started working here.

To cut to the point, ***I GOT A BONUS!!*** Yessth! How awesome is this Friday?? :))) They call this bonus the "end of year bonus". I haven't even worked here for a whole year yet. Apparently, the company is doing really well after a not-so-good slump some years back. But, now that they are doing well, we as a collective get to reap in the profits. It just really makes you feel good about the place you work at. :)))

People in the office are *glowing*... myself included. :)))

P.S. On top of that good news, we had free Panera lunch today compliments of Mohawk Paper + Xpedx. It's a fair trade-off: We sit + listen to their new products + services while they feed us plenty. :) Asiago roast beef sammich... mmm.
