[w/ suarez + corey. met up w/ Gus Nicklos + crew, who trekked down from Savannah for the show. saw berry 'the future Weston RA' from SCAD as well, which was a nice surprise. a little asian girl skankin the nite away in a tough boys club. it was 100% fun, tho!]

[w/ avonn, + SCAD mates vicki stein, arnel alinea, + robbie. The Frog's guy pulled avonn + i upstage to dance for "1979". vicki's film was taken away, so no damn evidence. but, sanchez definitely saw us! aftershow, avonn, myself + vicki were invited to meet the band backstage along with the rest of the fans who were pulled upstage. only mr. corgan showed up. asked him about a pedal he or james iha used on a sample from "The Aeroplane Flies High".]

[w/ arnel, robbie, + vicki. towards the end of their set, a couple behind me were being harrassed by a Savannah policeman who was originally hired as The Wallflowers' stage security. they were "suspected" to have possession of weed. there was no suspicion by me cos i could smell it. the girl was on the guy's shoulders + the policeman wanted her to come down. she resisted, so he tried to force her to come down. while he was handling her on her way down, she began beating him. so, he took out a can of something + sprayed. the last thing i saw was this can in front of *my* face. they got sprayed, too, but at least they were the intended targets. an innocent bystander sprayed with pepperspray with a policeman who couldn't aim for the life of him. let's just be glad he wasn't trying to use a gun. all i wanted to do was see The Wallflowers. i even got my ticket for free.]

[w/ avonn. met up w/ suarez. avonn didn't know who The Descendants were, but i dragged her with me cos i didn't feel like going to the show by myself. i guess she had a good time?]

[w/ gus nicklos, steve schwertner + other SCAD guys on an illegal SCAD bus. met up w/ te, avonn + arlene tormon. remember, it wasn't a No Doubt show--it was a CIV show!]

[w/ te, avonn, gine delrosario, arlene, christine, ron ruiz, sly, lane, + chris. such a let-down. i knew i wouldn't have a good time. i did get a photo with Mark Hoppus of Blink 182, before their LP's turned more towards 75% pop-punk.]

[w/ te + kuya. cause: never wear open-toed shoes at an indoor show at a niteclub. effect: barley toe.]

[w/ te, kuya + avonn. +LiVE+ is better outdoors. they didn't blow me away this time. mebbe it was cos of the crowd? and you know how much a difference that makes.]

[w/ ruiz + his roommate. last minute trek I-16 westbound from savannah. and i listened to Buck-O-Nine all the way down to Atlanta only to miss them. Primus rocked the house--literally. the shaky floor would've knocked down those large amps if those guys weren't grasping them the whole time. that band always impresses me + to see them live made me respect them even more. so much talent, it hurts. can you think of another band out there that sounds like them? didn't think so.]

[w/ te. ahh, what a nite. guitarist 'Bucket' of The Toasters pulled me up on stage to dance a few songs--stage-right. we have photographic evidence!]
